Mermaid Swim Lessons (Private/Semi-Private)
Learn how to swim like a mermaid using a mermaid tail. With safety as the top priority, participants will be taught how to move through the water using a combination of their legs and the tail. Throughout the lessons, participants will learn tricks and techniques. This is a fun way to learn a new way to swim and move through the water.
All participants must be able to swim and be comfortable in the water. A swimming test may be required.
Packages can be private or semi-private groups (up to 3 participants—we do not pair participants in semi-private groups, you must already have a group in mind).
Mermaid lessons are based on the mermaid’s availability. Anyone interested in mermaid lessons must submit a request form online or directly to the Aquatic Manager, you will be paired with the mermaid and contacted directly by her to set up scheduling.
Rachelle has availability on:
Monday, Tuesday and Thursday AM and PM.
Wednesday and Friday PM.
If you are unable to swim 25 yards, swim lessons would be the perfect spot for you.

Mermaid Swim Lesson Details:
Mermaid swim lesson sessions are 45 minutes.
Mermaid tails will be provided by the instructor.
We currently offer private mermaid swim sessions that are 1-on-1, with you and the instructor, and semi-private mermaid swim sessions which can have up to 3 participants. Semi-private mermaid swim lessons are great if you want to learn with a friend or family member.

My name is Mermaid Rachelle and I’m the owner and operator of Rashell’s School of Mermaids. I began my mermaid journey back in 2018 when I switched from typical land exercises to water. I was an active swimmer through high school and worked as a swim instructor and lifeguard at the Ywca during those years. I also have a few years of aquatic fitness under my belt. I have advanced my skills with certifications in scuba, free diving, mermaid and now mermaid instructor.
I’ve worked as a professional mermaid both in and out of the water for the last five years. I specialize in book reads, education reporting, tank performances, aquarium performances as well as birthday parties and corporate events. I’ve been an educator my entire adult career. I feel at home teaching with children and am excited to share all my mermaid knowledge and skills. From beginner mermaid to advance mermaid I can accommodate everyone regardless of skill level.
