Love-Struck: A Murder Mystery Dinner

You’ve been invited to the Dunn Speakeasy for the wedding of the year! In this married to the mob event, you’ll never know who to trust. With the two families merging together, someone is bound to loose power, which means someone else will lose their life! Get on the trolley and solve this case with your fellow detectives: Death of a Gangster.

During this Murder Mystery Dinner, you will have an interactive experience with our performers as you try to figure out whodunit! Background music will be provided by Johnny Walker and dinner will be served by Bernardi’s. We will also have signature drinks available.

Everyone will get a chance to be a part of this two-hour Murder Mystery show! It is like a live-action version of Clue! Our actors will be mingling with everyone at the start of the event. During this time, they will select 8-12 of our guests to be suspects.

All the rest of the attendees will get paired up as detectives. The fun part is that no one will know if they are the killer or not until the end of the show. This will keep everyone playfully suspicious of everyone the entire time. So make sure to bring your best disguise…you just might be the killer.

6:00-10:00PM

Evening Timeline

6:00PM – Guests arrive. Actors greet the guests, explain the rules, distribute suspect information, etc.

6:30PM – Buffet line opens up for dinner.

7:00PM – Guests take their seats and actors start Act 1. Actors introduce the guests playing suspects and a murder takes place!

7:30PM – First Investigation Time takes place. Guests are encouraged to participate in Investigation Time – it is their chance to gather clues and question suspects. Suspects will also have optional goals to achieve. The Detective will arrive to end the Investigation Time.

7:45PM – Start Act 2.

8:15PM – Second Investigation Time takes place.

8:30PM – Start Act 3. The Detective reveals shocking secrets and clues about the suspects.

8:50PM – Final Sentencing Sheets are passed out, giving guests a chance to guess whodunit.

8:55PM – Awards are distributed and bows are taken! Awards include: Best Actor, Best Actress, Detective of the Night and Dead Last Place.

Attire:

Dress like the cat’s meow for this mafia wedding! Flapper dresses, zoot suits, feather boas, headbands, pinstriped suits and fedoras are all appropriate. Traditional wedding attire is nifty too!
