Heartland Festival Orchestra Presents A Deep Dive Into Beethoven’s 7th

Last season, Heartland Festival Orchestra’s Beethoven in Surround Sound concert explored Beethoven’s 1st and 5th Symphony in an immersive setting. This season, it’s another Beethoven experience: learn to appreciate his “Symphony No. 7” from an intimately educational perspective, hearing from Maestro David Commanday about interpretation and rehearsal techniques that bring the printed notes to vivid, poetic life.
A concert like none other, as Maestro Commanday and the musicians of the Heartland Festival Orchestra lead you into the secrets of Beethoven’s 7th Symphony. You’ll hear rehearsal, experimentation, and illuminating commentary on the inner workings of the piece, culminating in a revealing and masterful performance of what many call “Beethoven’s Greatest Symphony.”
