Get ready to set sail for a night of smooth sounds, classic hits and good-time music when Yachtley Crew, “The Titans of Soft Rock,” takes the stage at Five Points Washington!
Yachtley Crew is a seven-piece Southern California band that burst onto the scene in 2017, selling out venues and helping fuel a nationwide Yacht Rock craze. Their success caught the attention of legendary musician Jimmy Buffett, who signed the band to his Mailboat label before their deal with Earache/Universal Records.
Dressed in their signature nautical suits and captain’s hats, Yachtley Crew celebrates the soft rock and Top 40 hits of the late ’70s and early ’80s with an energetic live show built for singing along, dancing and having a great time.
The Sound of Yacht Rock
Yacht Rock brings together the smooth melodies, unforgettable harmonies and feel-good songs that defined an era. Yachtley Crew’s Seas The Day EP features fan favorites including Boz Scaggs’ “Lido Shuffle,” Ace’s “How Long,” Robbie Dupree’s “Steal Away,” the Bee Gees’ “How Deep Is Your Love” and Christopher Cross’ “Ride Like the Wind,” along with the band’s original music.
But Yachtley Crew isn’t simply revisiting the classics. Their original song “Pain Of Losing You,” written specifically for the band by legendary songwriter Diane Warren, reached the Top 15 on the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart.
From Las Vegas to Five Points
Yachtley Crew has taken its signature Yacht Rock experience to audiences across the country. The band held a four-year residency at The Palms in Las Vegas, appeared on HBO’s Yacht Rock: A Dockumentary and Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live, and became the first Yacht Rock band to perform live at the SiriusXM Yacht Rock Radio studio.
In 2026, the band welcomes new lead vocalist Ian Ward, whose credits span Broadway, television and international performance. Ward has appeared in productions including Rock of Ages, RENT, American Idiot, Footloose and Jesus Christ Superstar at the Hollywood Bowl. He is also a Golden Ticket winner and former American Idol contestant and has collaborated and performed with artists including Idina Menzel, Pat Benatar and Cyndi Lauper.
