Five Points Summer Olympics Challenge
July 22 - August 16
Join our 6 week fitness challenge! This challenge begins on July 22 and goes until August 16. To participate, you will sign up at the front desk and pay the $20 entry fee. This $20 fee will get you a Summer Olympics Challenge t-shirt.
Challenge Details and Rules:
- Challenge runs from July 22– August 16
- Closing ceremony is on Friday, August 16th from 5:30-6:30pm at Five Points Washington: make sure to stay after and enjoy the last Five Points Fridays of the season
- Teams of 4: pick a team captain and choose a team name (must be a country)
- $20 per person, t-shirt is included
- Team Captains will be responsible for tracking the team points on a Microsoft form: Leslie will update all teams with the standings each week: team captains will need to turn in ALL points for their team on the following Fridays: 7/26, 8/2, 8/9, and 8/16
- Prize awarded to the Gold, Silver, and Bronze teams
How to Earn Points:
- 2 points per Group Fitness OR Aquatic class (max 3 classes per day)
- 2 points per Boxing class, TRX class, or Personal Training session (1 per day)
- 1.5 points for treadmill, stationary bike, elliptical…anything on the fitness floor: must be at least 30 minutes (1 per day)
- 1.5 points for swimming laps in the Five Points pool: must be at least 30 minutes (1 per day)
- 1 point for any exercise outside of Five Points: must be at least 30 minutes of exercise (1 per day)
- Extra points can be awarded from Leslie throughout the competition.
