Five Points Fridays – May 23
May 23 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

To kickoff our 2025 Five Points Fridays series, we are excited to feature Stereo Typical on our May date!
This year at Five Points Fridays, we will have a monthly initiative that we will be taking part in. The month of May is Mental Health Awareness Month, so we will be joined by Camp Dallas to help talk with you about their organization and how they create moments of peace, belonging and hope for kids who need it most. We will have live music, food trucks, kids activities and more. This FREE event is open to the public and takes place from 6-9 p.m.

May Initiative – Camp Dallas
“Camp Dallas was created in memory of a young man named Dallas—gone too soon in his teenage years. His parents, devastated but determined, chose to carry his name forward by helping kids. This isn’t just a camp. It’s a promise—that no child has to walk their story alone. Every tent we pitch, every fishing pole we cast, every fire we build—it all carries Dallas’s name and the belief that one moment of hope can change a life forever.”
“The Camp Dallas mission is to guide young hearts to healing through the power of nature. We embrace the outdoors as a catalyst for mental wellness, nurturing resilience and hope in every youth we serve.”

What is Five Points Fridays?
Five Points Fridays began during the COVID-19 pandemic as a way to safely bring the community together, offering a space for people to enjoy live music, food trucks and outdoor activities while maintaining social distancing. Over the years, these events have grown into a cherished tradition, fostering a strong sense of community while providing access to music and the arts. With live performances, arts and crafts for kids and a welcoming environment for all ages, attendees have a chance to connect with their neighbors and engage in creative activities. Each month features a new initiative, such as mental health awareness in May, Touch-A-Truck in June and an adoption event with TCAC in July. August will feature a special Bicentennial celebration and car show. These events continue to strengthen local bonds and create lasting memories for the people of Washington.
Thank you to our Five Points Fridays Sponsors: Mosquito Joe, the Ryan Blackorby Team from Jim Maloof, Signature Heights Realty, Nicole Miller with Edward Jones and Kep’s Sports Bar & Grill.
