MEET OUR HEAD DIVING COACH!
My name is Seth Nowak, I am 18 years of age, and am currently a student enrolled at Illinois Central College. Throughout my entire life, I have been active in competitive swimming as well as competitive soccer. I also have a background in gymnastics and martial arts. Currently, I work as a gymnastics instructor for Peoria Elite Gymnastic Academy, and a swim instructor at Five Points. I went to Metamora Township High School, where I competed all four years on the Swim & Dive team, as well as the Soccer Team. In my free time I like to play guitar and drums, or spend time with my family.
Diving Background:
I have been diving for the past four years with my high-school and club team. Through all my years of diving, I practiced with the RedBird Diving Club during the off-season, and attended the Ripfest Diving Camp in the summers.
Diving Accomplishments:
During my junior year of high-school, I was the 2023 IHSA Boys Sectional champion for springboard diving. I finished with a score of 352.45, and qualified for the ISHA Boys State Championship where I took 44th out of 50. Due to an injury during my senior year, I was unable to compete, but I still participated by helping coach other divers. I coached the 2024 IHSA Boys Sectional champion, with a score of 413.30, Aj Stone. Aj then proceeded to compete in the 2024 IHSA Boys State Championship where he took 40th out of 50.

Reason for Coaching:
I want to pass on my knowledge and love for diving to kids who are looking to find a unique sport to compete in.
