Five Points Speaker Series – HearingLife
We are excited to announce a special event for our senior community on Thursday, May 8 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. HearingLife will be offering FREE Hearing Screenings. While this is not our normal Speaker Series time, we are very excited to bring this event to the Senior Room.
Wondering if it’s ear wax or hearing loss? This screening will include both a hearing test and an otoscopic exam to check for ear wax build-up. It’s completely free and open to everyone!
As we age, hearing loss becomes more common, and untreated hearing loss can have significant consequences, such as:
- Increased risk of dementia
- Reduced social interactions
- Anxiety and insecurity
Lisa Buettner, Nationally Board-Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist (HIS) of HearingLife will be here to offer complimentary hearing screenings and hearing aid performance checks.

Our Speaker Series is regularly 1-3 p.m. on the fourth Monday of the month. Refreshments will be available and you do NOT have to be a Five Points member to come to our Speaker Series.
