Five Points Fridays – July 25

July 25 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Event canceled notice with guitar background.

Due to the current weather forecast, we have cancel our Five Points Friday event for this evening. We have too much fun planned to let it get rained out, so we are working with our vendors, partners and the band to lock in a new date. Stay up to date on our website, social media and within our facility to hear about any future plans for our July Five Points Friday.

Joining us this month for our Five Points Fridays series is Outland!

This year at Five Points Fridays, we will have a monthly initiative that we will be taking part in. For the month of July, we will be joined by Tazewell County Animal Alliance and Tazewell County Animal Control. We will have live music, food trucks, kids activities and more. This FREE event is open to the public and takes place from 6-9 p.m.

About the Band:

“Outland delivers a high-energy mix of country, rock, and party hits, backed by the kind of natural chemistry that comes from a group of guys having fun with their passions. Based in central Illinois, with members hailing from Washington, Bloomington and Atlanta, we’re proud to bring our hometown spirit to every stage. With two guitars, bass, drums and co-led vocals, we bring a full, powerful sound and professional lighting to every performance, creating an experience that’s engaging and entertaining.

Our setlist includes country favorites from Jon Pardi, Morgan Wallen, Brooks & Dunn, George Strait and Old Dominion, along with rock and alternative classics from AC/DC, Blink-182, Coldplay, Matchbox Twenty and more. Whether you’re singing along to timeless hits or discovering your new favorite cover, Outland promises a great time for music lovers and fun-seekers alike.”

What is Five Points Fridays?

Five Points Fridays began during the COVID-19 pandemic as a way to safely bring the community together, offering a space for people to enjoy live music, food trucks and outdoor activities while maintaining social distancing. Over the years, these events have grown into a cherished tradition, fostering a strong sense of community while providing access to music and the arts. With live performances, arts and crafts for kids and a welcoming environment for all ages, attendees have a chance to connect with their neighbors and engage in creative activities. Each month features a new initiative, such as mental health awareness in May, Touch-A-Truck in June and an adoption event with TCAC in July. August will feature a special Bicentennial celebration and car show. These events continue to strengthen local bonds and create lasting memories for the people of Washington.

Thank you to our Five Points Fridays Sponsors: Mosquito Joe, the Ryan Blackorby Team from Jim Maloof, Signature Heights Realty, Nicole Miller with Edward Jones and Kep’s Sports Bar & Grill.
