Hear the HFO with the world-class Harlem String Quartet, known for crossing freely among Classical, Jazz, Latin, and Contemporary musics. All those threads weave through the entire program – with the West Side Story Concerto, Gershwin’s Cuban Overture and William Grant Still’s Afro American Symphony. This is a concert of sizzle, heart, and soul.
