Location: Weather permitting outside, inside Five Points Washington for bad weather

Whether you’re new to running or looking to refine your technique, this class is for you. Throughout the course, you’ll engage in practical sessions where you’ll learn and practice fundamental running techniques. From proper form and breathing techniques to effective warm-ups and cooldowns, each session will build your confidence and endurance. You should expect to gradually increase your running distances in a supportive environment. By the end of the course, you’ll not only have improved your fitness but also gained the knowledge and motivation to continue running.

 

Meet Your Running Coach:

My name is Emily Baker, and I am a certified Personal Trainer, Strength and Conditioning Coach, and Running Coach through ISSA. I’m currently going to school at Eureka College to major in Elementary Education, and I also run for their Cross Country and Track teams.

I will be coaching a 5K training class to get you into or back into running. I strive to help you achieve your goals while also making the process not only enjoyable but also sustainable! If you have any questions or interests, please reach out and let me know how I can help.
