SUMMARY:Five Points Speaker Series - Card Making with Pixie Jacquin

We only have room for 20 participants\, so make sure you reserve your spot; spots filled up quickly last year. To reserve your spot\, email Paige Wise at paigew@fivepointswashington.org. \n  \n\nMarch 24\, 1-3PM \nFive Points Washington\, Senior Room \n  \n\n\n \nSpecial thanks to our sponsor for this event\, Cara Linsley from Signature Heights Realty\, LLC. If you would like to sponsor a Speaker Series event\, reach out to Missy Prather and let her know how you would like to help bring fun and engaging content to the Senior Room this year: melissap@fivepointswashington.org. \n  \nOur Speaker Series is from 1-3PM on the fourth Monday of the month. Refreshments will be available and you do NOT have to be a Five Points member to come to our Speaker Series. \n  \nJoin our Five Points Senior Room page to hear more about our Speaker Series and other events happening in the Senior Room: https://www.facebook.com/groups/245412824880066 \n  \nLearn more about Pixie Jacquin: \n \nI am an artist whose work is a blend of memory and imagination\, captured in ink\, acrylic\, and watercolor. My art reflects the facets of myself—the moments\, the feelings\, and the thoughts I hold about the world around me. It is a snapshot of time\, a personal reflection on people\, animals\, objects\, and the spaces we inhabit. I approach my work with seriousness and depth\, constantly thinking and reflecting on the world. But I am also irreverent; I like to poke fun\, to challenge conventions\, and to question what we take for granted. My work is my protest\, a reminder that life is too short to paint anything other than what truly pleases me. \n  \nYou can take a look at Pixie’s work on the Five Points Community Gallery Wall (right outside the theater) from now until March 30. \n\n\n\n\n\n  \nQuestions? Contact Wedding Coordinator\, Missy Prather: melissap@fivepointswashington.org.
