Join this 8 week program to get those last pounds off! The day is coming, the day that’s all about YOU. Take time to relieve stress, burn calories, and get into shape before the big day. Use this 8 weeks to either start you on the right track or to boost your routine. The Winner will receive a $100 discount on the reception hall. Sign up at the front desk, get ready to kick your own butt, and get into shape NOW! Pre and Post measurements will be taken for your records.

Week 1: Seven to Heaven

Workout seven days this week for at least 30 minutes. Yes, that’s EVERYDAY! A list of outdoor/alternative activities will be available to you in case you just can’t make it in to the fitness center that day. Log-in cards will be at the fitness desk with space for an alternate activity.

Week 2: Train for Pain

Attend a “Meet the Trainers” night and schedule a Fitness Assessment. Trainers will be available for questions, concerns, motivation, and scheduling sessions should you choose to hire one for the next 6 weeks. Continue your cardiovascular activities for at least 30 minutes most days this week. Don’t give up!

Week 3: Join the Club

Participate in at least 2 different group exercise classes this week. Sign-in sheets will be available to log this week’s activity. Keep up the cardio to continue burning those calories!

Week 4: 1/2 Marathon

No, not all in one day! You have this entire week to complete 13 miles of walking, running, elliptical, cycling, swimming, or arc training. Have fun and switch it up if you’d like!

Week 5: Butts, Guts, Arms and Legs

Take a group exercise class or create your own workout. Concentrate on the following muscle groups on the listed days:

  • Monday: Legs, Butts and Guts

  • Tuesday: Back, Arms and Guts

  • Wednesday: Legs, Butts and Guts

  • Thursday: Chest, Back, and Arms

  • Friday: Butts and Guts

Don’t forget to warm up with at least 20 minutes of cardio!

Week 6: Refer a Friend

Bring a friend to workout with you and use handouts of buddy exercises available at the fitness center desk. It’s always more fun with a friend, so whether its the maid of honor, mother of the bride, or just a good friend, show them what you’re made of this week. Guarantee they’ll be impressed!

Week 7: Stress Less

You’ve been working really hard on all the planning, organizing, and body shaping. Now it’s time to take a load off, let go of it all, sit back and relax! Try Yoga or one of the relaxation sessions offered this week. Sessions will include: breathing (this surprisingly does WONDERS for stress), visualization (take yourself to your happy place), and simply stretching.

Week 8: Bride’s Choice

I don’t care what you do this week, just keep moving! Pick your favorite exercises and do them well. Be sure to continue your cardio for at least 30 minutes each day.

Good luck and best wishes to the new YOU!
